The Vale do Rio Doce University, as an institution that promotes local memory, in response to the request of the Municipal Secretary of Culture, Sport, Leisure and Tourism Kevin Nilton Santos Figueiredo and the Manager of Historical Heritage Roberta Avelar de Castro allowed the use of material produced by the disciplines Território and Memory (Interdisciplinary Master's Degree in Integrated Land Management) and Cultural Heritage (Architecture Course) by the Deliberative Council for Heritage, with the aim of contributing to the ICMS Cultural Heritage score of the municipality and to the practice of municipal Heritage Education. The material was produced in collaboration with the Stricto Sensu Integrated Land Management Graduate Program and the Architecture & Urbanism and Graphic Design courses. In addition to the book, we also provide an exhibition of banners with the aim of promoting cultural heritage in local schools.
